THE BIBLE: THE COMPLETE WORD
OF GOD (Abridged)
A comedy that promises more
laughs than church would ever allow. A production by the three man Reduced
Shakespeare Company, this irreverent play examines the profound historical
questions left unanswered by the Bible. Did Adam and Eve have navels? Did Moses
really look like Charlton Heston? The performance will take audiences on an
affectionate, irreverent roller coaster ride from fig leaves to the Final
Judgment.
Matinee begins at 2:00 PM.
Departure time from the church TBA, arrive at 11:45 AM with lunch at 12:00 PM.
Cost is $50.00 per person which includes:
carpooling transportation cost, lunch (tax & tip) and the play. Luncheon
choices are: Roast Turkey w/ mashed potatoes or Ham w/ pineapple glaze. All
lunches include: tossed salad, potato, and vegetable du jour, rolls and butter,
dessert and beverage.
Reserve your space(s) ASAP.
Deadline to register is Sunday, August 31. Make checks payable to First
Presbyterian Church of Irwin (Note in memo area Christian Cruisers). Questions?
