Because First Free
was undefeated prior to their last encounter with the Jays (just
above) another game was required in this double elimination tournament
to decide the season champion.
The Jays were walking too many batters. This time their come from
behind ability would fall short. In the bottom of the final inning
(7th) with 2 outs the Jays faced a daunting task to come back from a
13 to 3 deficit. They went down gunning and running bringing their
final score to 10 with a runner on base before succumbing with a final
fly out.
Great Season Jays!
Congratulations First Free!
