Farewell for Rev Osborne

A close-up of the bespeckled Reverend Osborne with graying bushy mustache and thick shiny feathered combed hair reading the funnies in his study. His flush face gives him the appearance of a tan at a distance and the qualities of red cheeks and nose Santa closer up.

A close-up of the Reverend Osborne reading the funnies in his study. His particular favorite is Berkeley Breathed's Opus. It's not known how many times this was a source for his sermons.

This image reveals a desk of much activity graced with a tiffany lamp and a window whose venetian blinds reveal shadows of crosses in the background. The Reverend's fingers are interlocked as he holds his stuffed Opus on his lap.

Though going rather far away...

"It's all about God"

Ken Osborne has served FPCI as its Interim Senior Pastor since July of 2003.  He has worked among and with us with a sense of humor; a desire for unity; and a clear understanding that ministry belongs to all church members.  When an issue has surfaced, he has put the appropriate people together to talk things through with the expectation that reason will prevail after emotions run their course.  From his very first Sunday, Ken has been a non-anxious presence in a church family that is learning how to grow through change.  Thank you Ken and may God bless you in your ministry at the Leacock Presbyterian Church.

Rev Paul Becker, Jr
Interim Associate Pastor

Note to Ken -

If you were heading for Florida you might have had  Cheeseburgers In Paradise. Since it's eastern Pennsylvania perhaps you can open a franchise so you can have Kerber's In Paradise.

The cross stitching gives the depths we see the four dolphins in a realistic refraction quality. This quality carries to the sea mammals where various pattern tones play off the grey skin of their bodies. Colors are vivid blue green of the ocean as well as plant and fish life found on the ocean floor in magenta purple, yellowish orange, and various shades of green. One dolphin appears to be the mother tail end arched towards the surface head and body parallels the floor while a baby nestles beside her tilted so the top of its head caresses her and exposes its white underside. Another dolphin's swimming brings its nose and head over the top of the Mothers head and body. Another dolphin adds to the 3 dimension effect swimming up from behind and above the others.

Ken's Relics

Discovered at one of the church's flea markets, these ruby slippers proved instrumental in the reverend locating his car.

Forget any rubber ducky relics, they pale in comparison to the powers of this plastic chicken. In addition to treating the affliction of unwanted people hanging around your desk when your trying to read your comics..er..when trying to compose a soul saving sermon, the chicken has been known to cure hang nails.
