"We are now being asked to make a decision about refurbishing GOD'S residence at First Presbyterian Church in Irwin. Many years ago former members of this church had to make the same decision so that we could have this beautiful building to worship in today and they said "YES". My wife and I support this Capital Campaign Drive so that we can help insure a nice home where we and future generations of Christians can worship GOD".

"We decided to make a special donation as we felt there was a concrete reason for doing so. The church building is in need of repairs and that has been obvious to us for some time. The building needs these repairs now to avoid major damage to the building. We have been Presbyterians since 1972 and have enjoyed the facilities that were provided by others before us. It is our hope that the restoration of this church will make it possible for the youth to enjoy a church that is safe and comfortable. Other than that we pray that the necessary funding goal will be reached this year to avoid further delay and additional costs. Our youth will be the ones to benefit and hopefully they will stand up for the church when their chance comes."
