Now with the kitchen
totally void of freezers and coffee machine (left) and yes, even the
kitchen sink (below) work can begin on scraping the tile off the floor. |
|
When the sink goes back
in, it will be set up to better handle solid waste. |
 |
 |
The serving trays in
the counter on the wall between the kitchen and social room will benefit
from drains drilled for each sink as well as a faucet to draw water. |
|
The stove depicted
between the coffee machine and the sink and counter units is still in
good shape and will be retained. |
 |
 |
The floor is flakey as the
tile is scraped off for new flooring. |
|
There was some
interesting plumbing to be found. Notice the pipe coming out and down
the wall to the right. It came into the cabinet on that side. It was
doubly challenging to remove the cabinets since internal plumbing was
also a prominent feature of the cabinet that was on the left. |

The plumbing situation
led to some wet floors as the work continued in removing the old
flooring. |
