Rev. Russell was the first woman to serve as President of the Westmoreland Bar Association and the Westmoreland Bar Foundation. She is on a temporary leave of absence from her part-time practice of law with her husband, Ron, at Ronald L. Russell & Associates, P.C., in Greensburg and Pittsburgh, where she concentrates on Family Law, Elder Law and Disability issues. Ron Russell is an Elder, who is active in Kiwanis and Youth Leadership Training. He also makes great spaghetti sauce for church events. Rev. Russell and Ron live in the Lincoln Heights section of Jeannette (Hempfield Township).

Rev. Russell’s parents are also Elders and they live in Greensburg. Her mother, Ginnye, is a retired teacher. She is still active in Presbyterian Women. Her father, Bill Abraham, coached football at Hempfield for over 30 years and served as the first Director of the WCCC Educational Foundation. Rev. Russell and her family look forward to their time of worship and fellowship at First Presbyterian Church of Irwin.
