Lake Michigan Workcamp A great week on a Great Lake.
In Racine, life can be difficult for elderly folks on fixed incomes. When a front porch begins to rot or basement steps become unsteady, a widow may hesitate to repair them. Maybe she feels helpless, or perhaps she fears being cheated by an unscrupulous contractor. Meanwhile, the porch becomes impassable and the steps become more and more treacherous. Other homes suffer from years of harsh Wisconsin winters and desperately need winterizing, new paint and light carpentry work. This summer, you can reach out to the people in lakeside Racine by making their homes safer, sturdier and more comfortable places to live. You’ll be building unforgettable memories and experiences.
