The Power of a Simple Gift

Operation Christmas Child brings joy and hope to children in desperate situations worldwide through gift-filled shoe boxes and the Good News of God's love. A shoe box filled with small toys and other gifts can open hurting hearts to God's love.

Keeping busy during the service, as the above video attests, was our guest speaker Stuart Adams II. Stuart is currently employed by a Jewish carpenter as an Authorized Lay Preacher. He will soon graduate from Pittsburgh Theological  Seminary as a Commissioned Lay Pastor. He was excited to learn very recently that he has been accepted into the Pittsburgh Theological Seminary to study to be a Minister of Word and Sacrament (Ordained Minister). Depending on his schedule mix of full or part time, it promises to be a 3 to 6 year journey. We wish him the best.
