Following dinner, Rev. Debbie Blane shared stories about
her work as a Presbyterian Church USA (PCUSA) missionary serving in Sudan.
Debbie serves as a lecturer in Theology at Nile Theological College (NTC) in
Sudan. She teaches a wide range of programs to prepare pastors to serve in
Presbyterian churches.
Redstone Presbytery has a partnership with the Sudan Presbyterian Evangelical Church (SPEC), the people there, and the PCUSA missionaries on the ground. She has first hand knowledge about the changes and conflicts happening in Sudan.
