Sitting in like colored chairs in a circle are a red woman, blue man (facing almost directly at viewer), and dark orange man holding a Bible.

Small Groups are made up of anywhere from 4 to 12 people who contract with each other to meet at least once a month for study and support.  If you are interested in being a part of any group, please contact Diane Johnston.

New Small Groups starting up for Adult Education

The Quiet Time Companion Group is an excellent opportunity to study the Bible together. We are using the devotional book The Quiet Time Study Companion. It takes an average of 20 minutes a day, Monday-Friday, and a little time over the weekend. Each week there is a different theme and style of study. We meet every other Monday afternoon to review the last two weeks. We bring our questions, talk over interesting points and encourage each other. We recognize the more diverse this group is the more we can learn together. We would love to have you join us. Call Christine Castner for details at 724-864-6241.

Women's Group
The Daughters of the King "mom's" group is growing up! Our new focus of study is Courage in Serving and there is a spot for you regardless if you have children or the age of your children. We'd love to have you join us. Call 724-864-6241 for more details.

PURPOSE STATEMENT

To assist the people of The First Presbyterian Church of Irwin . . .

Fellowship groups follow the structure based on the early church in which small groups of Christians came together in homes for Worship, Bible Study, Fellowship, Witness, and Service.  In addition to meetings at least once a month, the groups are encouraged to be involved in some type of service project.  There are a wide range of different types of groups available.  New groups are also starting regularly.
