The workout coach shouts, "Power Up!" and VBS leaders at The First Presbyterian Church of Irwin have responded to the challenge. Jesus Helps You Power Up! was about far more than being in shape. It offered kids the opportunity to help reshape their world. Beginning each day at Power Up! Place, Our Workout Team explored five great "one another" passages of the New Testament:

LOVE One Another ACCEPT One Another SERVE One Another COMFORT One Another FORGIVE One Another

In every story, kids discovered that they are built up to build others up. Through hands-on activities, they discovered that Jesus builds us up from the inside out. He can make us powerhouses for Him.

Through great Faith Life Praises, such as "Serving One Another" and "Your Word in My Heart", kids discovered "God is Able to Build You Up." Our two ant mascots, Rachel (a health-oriented coach) and Reuben (a happy-go-lucky guy interested in improving himself) doubled the fun.
