First Presby Irwin has partnered with The Blessing Board, a 501(c)(3) organization, which was established on May 23, 2010, in response to Christ’s call to help our neighbors. Their mission is to provide furniture, household items, and home medical equipment to families in our community who are in dire need of these essentials as others who are more fortunate no longer require them.

When you give, their team makes it easy — they’ll pick up furniture directly from your home, even from multiple levels. Every item you share helps create a safe, comfortable space for a family starting over or facing hardship. Your donation also supports environmental sustainability. Drop offs: You can bring your items to the church (please call first).
Pickup is available if you are in the Irwin / North Huntingdon area. We have volunteers that can come to your location on the 4th Saturday of each month. Please call the church office (724-863-5910 x113) to be put on the list.
At The Blessing Board
Drop Offs: You can drop off your donations Monday through Thursday from 9 am to 3 pm. Our warehouse staff will assist in unloading your items.

Pickups: Fee applies based on location, If you would like to schedule a pickup of your gently used furniture, household goods, or home medical equipment, please fill out an Online Donation Form at www.theblessingboard.org. If you cannot access their website, please contact their Logistics Coordinator at 412-828-1055 (option 2) or email at donate@theblessingboard.org. We pick up donations on Monday through Thursday from 9 am to 2 pm. Fee applies based on the number of items, the difficulty of the move, and the distance traveled. To determine your fee, please fill out an Online Donation Form at www.theblessingboard.org.

We gratefully accept gently used items that are clean, functional, and ready for immediate use.
Please ensure your donations are free from damage or the need for repair, and do not contain:
- Heavy stains, rips, or tears
- Pet hair or odors
- Cigarette or other smoke smells
- Evidence of bed bugs, urine, dry rot, or mold
